Managing the Filtered Account View with Account Group Tags
Account group tags will filter your account list, but you can still access an all accounts view if needed.
Group Account filters are designed to simplify and streamline user experience based on the relevance of an account to a specific user.
The account selector when opened will show a list of the most recently visited accounts. If no account group tags are applied the list will look similar to the example below:
If an account group tag(s) have been applied to both an account and a user the user will see a pre-filtered list of accounts similar to the example below:
Note the difference between the two examples:
-
- The list has been pre-filtered for a tag called 'North America' as shown at the bottom of the selector next to the filter icon
. This indicates that the displayed account 'Asigra Inc.' and this user both have the 'North America' tag assigned.
- The 'All Accounts' icon
is still accessible in the lower left-hand corner, but without the label, and will take the user to the Accounts page. The Accounts page is where all accounts are listed regardless of assigned account group tags.
- The list has been pre-filtered for a tag called 'North America' as shown at the bottom of the selector next to the filter icon
If a user wants to change their filtered view they can do so by clicking on the filter icon and tag label.
1. Click on filter icon and tag label .
2. Click on the 'All Groups' item
3. Select the other account group tag options you wish to view
