Required User Roles: Only Global Admins or Backup Admins have permissions to run a restore.
To run a restore follow these steps:
1. Use the account selector to select the account you want to run the restore on and select the connector you want to run a restore for.
2. Select the backup set you would like to run a restore from and click on the ellipsis to access the backup's action menu. In the action menu click on the restore option .
4. You'll be taken to a Restore Backup page that will list all the restore points for that specific backup set. Click on the backup run you would like to restore and then click 'Next'.
5. You'll be asked to confirm the restore on a summary view of the backup name and status. Click 'Restore' to proceed.
MultiPerson Approval (MPA): If MPA is enabled on the account then the required approvers need to approve the restore before the system will proceed with the requested change.
MultiFactor Authentication (MFA): If MFA is enabled on the user then the system will require the user to approve the restore via the MFA tool that was used with SaaSAssure.
6. The system will send you a notification once the restore has completed. You can continue to use the SaaSAssure platform while the restore is running but it is recommended to avoid any additional actions on the connector being restored.
The time it takes to run a restore depends on the volume of items, item's sizes of what is being restored, and the destination SaaS applications API performance.
