Creating an Account

SaaSAssure is a multi-tenant solution, where each tenant is called an account.

Required User Roles: Only Global Admins or Account Admins have permissions to create accounts.

Each account in SaaSAssure is a partitioned tenant where all connectors, storage locations, and data for one client/department/entity can live independently from all other accounts. 

When you sign into SaaSAssure for the first time you will arrive on the Dashboard page. In the header there is the account selector Accounts Selector. After you've added accounts the fastest way to access them will be through this selector. 

 

To add your first account follow these steps:

1. Click on the plus icon to the left of the account selector, which will open the 'Add Account' modal.

2. Complete the form by adding an account name and assigning any desired account group tags. Account group tags are optional items to help filter certain views in SaaSAssure. Once done entering the account info click the 'Next' button.

3. You will see a summary of your new account information that you entered. If you need to edit any information click on the edit icon Edit Icon. If everything looks correct click the 'Add' button. 

 

4. After confirming to add the new account you'll be taken to the Accounts page, where you should now see the account you just created. To start working with the account just click on it within the list or select the account in the Account Selector. 

Alternative Approach: Add an Account on the Accounts Page

1. Open the accounts selector and click on the 'All Accounts' icon at the bottom of the list All Accounts Icon. This will take you to the Accounts page, which lists all existing accounts. 

 

2. In the upper-right area of the page click on the add account button Add Account Button. This will open the 'Add Account' form. 

 

3. Complete the form by adding an account name and assigning any desired account group tags. Account group tags are optional items to help filter certain views in SaaSAssure. Once done entering the account info click the 'Next' button.
