SaaSAssure can run backs on demand, at a scheduled point of time, or on a scheduled frequency of day, week, or month.
Required User Roles: Only Global Admins or Backup Admins have permissions to create backups.
When configuring your back up you have various options for when to run the back up and how frequently.
You can configure a backup set for the following:
- Run a single back up on demand
- Run a single back up at a scheduled date and time
- Run a scheduled recurring back-up with a stated end date
- Run a scheduled recurring back-up with no scheduled end date
For recurring scheduled backup you can schedule them to be daily, weekly, or monthly for any day of the week at any time of day.
Tip: You can have multiple backup sets running for the same connector (SaaS application) at different frequencies for different business requirements.
